If you're interested, here's our story: It all started at 8:07 pm, 8/7/87. We, the Vane sisters, were born: Alisha, Heather, and Veronica. Our parents hadn't planned on triplets, so we were put up for adoption. Alisha went to a family in the southern U.S., Heather to California, and Veronica to England. We all lived separate lives, unaware of each other. Then one day, August 7th, 2007, everything changed. Heather and Veronica saw the same video of Alisha on the same day on Youtube. It was like looking in the mirror. The same day, they emailed her and she wrote back. The three of us compared stories and realized, on our twentieth birthdays, that we were actually triplets who had been separated at birth. Where were we now? Alisha was a yoga instructor in Austin, Heather a singer in L.A., and Veronica a university student in London. We all happened to be planning a trip to Vancouver that very month. When we met up, we were ecstatic! We were also delighted with the city that brought us together, so we all moved to Vancouver. Now we are roommates, host dinner parties, and love making new friends--people like you! xoxo The Vane Sisters
